The 2012 Golf R is replacing the Golf R32 models and will offer drivers a unique combination of more power and performance, but less fuel consumption! Here’s the breakdown:

Vehicle: 2012 VW Golf R

Engine: 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine

Power: 256 horsepower – this makes it the most powerful VW sports performance vehicle ever sold in the US!

Torque: 250 lb-feet of torque

Acceleration: 0-60 miles per hour in less than six seconds!

Fuel economy: 19 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon. This represents an improvement over the Golf R’s predecessor which achieved 18 miles per gallon in the city and 23 miles per gallon on the highway.
