Channel Your Dark Side In The New 2012 Passat

This year, Volkswagen introduced “the force” of their new 2012 Passat during the Super Bowl, exciting VW and Star Wars enthusiast, and Chicago Volkswagen Passat drivers.  Grabbing the attention of more than six million viewers on You Tube after the game, the slick commercial, car, and price tag are making buyers happy.

Following the big game I spoke with Chris, a Chicago VW Golf driver who plans on trading in his 2009 for the 2012 Passat after seeing what Volkswagen is unleashing next year.  Many attributes draw him to the vehicle, including: a price tag for as little as $20,000, and an optional 2.0-liter turbo-diesel.  Also, to appeal to a wider audience, VW is replacing the their past small midsize Passat with a larger and wider wheelbase Passat.  Not only does the size excite Chris, but also the power.  The base engine will pack in 170 horses.

You know what probably burns up more than about 2 hours on average of my week days? Driving. I just fantasize about the precious extra 45 minutes of sleep I could have if that commute weren’t necessary. I could be watching the news, watching bad reality TV, learning to speak Chinese, online shopping… I mean I could literally be doing anything besides focusing on staying between the two lines in front of me. Driving is really just a time consuming inconvenience.
